Our Founder

Rev. Fr Kurian Muckocherril CMI (1933 - 2009) our founder and was born at Kudamaloor, Kottayam on 27th July 1933. He had his religious profession in 1955 and was ordained priest in 1962. He was a true religious, committed pastor and great lover of human kind. He was a missionary as well as visionary, and was successful in establishing and developing several institutions including Christ Central School, Mar Baselios Ashram and St. Antony's Parish Church, Thiruvalla. He was a man of initiatives, hard work and sincerity. His simplicity of life was exemplary. He was called to eternal rest on 19th March 2009 after prolonged illness, which he accepted gracefully.

Rev. Fr Kurian Mockocheril acquired the MGM LP School from Rev. Thomas Mar Theophilos in 1986 with the help of a few like - minded souls. His unwavering faith in God led him forward in the midst of all the difficulties, and his optimism, farsightedness and total dedication eventually paved the way for the emergence of the present Christ Central School & Junior College.
